So my mom and I have been working the same waitress job for 5-6 years now. She had been waitressing years before, but this is recently. Anyway, about… 15 minutes ago this guy she waited on left and told her to take care. Just that. Prior to this she had talked to him about Italy. Her people are from Florence, this and that, and she said she’s never been. She’s got 8 years of art education and she’s working a waitress job. It’s pretty… Sad and disappointing, I guess. Her and my father divorced 6 years ago and she hasn’t had a real job ever. Just been stuck in a small town she’s not from.
This man who we have never seen before tipped her 1000 dollars for a trip to Italy. Walked out, not another word.
…you know. Just when I start to lose faith in humanity….Hm.
Being a waitress, these recent stories are even more amazing to me.

One of my many birthday presents to Skyler. We had been planning to meet up with Oryanna this summer but the plans weren’t working out quite right. I texted Oreo and got her to surprise Skyler today. She came and we had an amazing time. So glad I got this to happen and we had an amazing time. Love me some Oryanna Decastro. Can’t wait to hang out again

this kind of annoys me. i get it- i feel bad because she has leukemia or some type of cancer- but the whole “GET HER TO 10K” thing and this is ridiculous i’m not sure if she’s past the stage where she can have radiation and fight it out or if she’s at a stage where its chemo and she’s good, but i’m pretty sure it isn’t too extreme or she wouldn’t be out there swimming and having a blast, she’d be in the hospital and in so much pain she couldn’t move. My dad died of cancer and there were no facebook posts of “OMG GET ME TO 49873594583985 FOLLOWERS XOXO” or “BRAD PITT JUST CAME OVER LIKE BESTIES LOL”, it was about fighting your hardest and being with your family and close friends and fighting until you just couldnt do it, not how many goddamn followers you got on whatever social media site. honestly, i think she’s using it to get more attention to herself. Also, I just went through her pictures- she’s doing chemo, which in itself does suck, but she’s also not stuck at a hospital 24/7, she’s out doing whatever the hell she did before this happened. i can guarantee if she didnt have cancer none of these “CHEERLEBS” would care, and she’d just be another fan of theirs. she really is using this for attention. not any kind of awareness to leukemia, just herself whatever, so tired of seeing this shit. people think she’s some GOD because of it, but in reality if she didnt have this- she wouldnt be.
i dont think she’s using it to get her attention at all. its her friends trying to make her life the best it can be because cancer can attack at any moment and come back stronger. i’m not sure wether or not she’s cancer free but maybe her friends are trying to make her life amazing in case it ends shortly. oreo is most likely one of her inspirations based on all the support that oreo gives her. so maybe if she didn’t have cancer she never would have met her today but thats not the reason to say this is for attention. skyler’s army was created as a way to help support skyler and her family throughout everything they’re going through like the medical bills. this was just one way that her friends helped support her. they’re making the most of her life because they never know when it’s gonna get tough again.
HI. THIS IS MY BEST FRIEND. YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT TO TALK ABOUT HER UNLESS YOU KNOW HER. She was close to 10,000 followers on instagram and thought it would be cool so her friends and family decided to make it happen. We shouted her out and posted and did so many things. It’s not like she said “GET ME TO 10 K OMG”. NO. She was in the hospital last week, will be admitted this week, and the next, and the next, and the next. She’s already spent more time in a hospital than i ever will in my entire life. I’m sorry she can’t have fun and have friends and family come over for her birthday? I’m sorry she’s making the best of a crappy situation. Oryanna did not hang out with us BECAUSE she has cancer. Oryanna met us because she has cancer and the friendship was bonded with personalities. IT’S HER BIRTHDAY SHE’S A TEENAGE GIRL/ HAVING CANCER DOESN’T MEAN SHE CAN’T HAVE A BIRTHDAY PARTY. SORRY. She obviously is with her closest friends or we wouldn’t be at her party. She’s fighting but she’s also trying to make the best of it. AND THERE WILL BE NO “CAN’T DO IT” BECAUSE SHE’S THE ABSOLUTE STRONGEST GIRL I KNOW AND LOVE. SHE GOT THE FOLLOWERS BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO FOLLOW HER. WE DIDN’T HOLD A KNIFE TO THEIR THROAT AND TELL THEM TO. She’s in the hospital a DAMN lot. Half the time i see her that’s where she is. I can guarantee she’s not doing what she was before. We may not have met Oryanna but that’s not WHY we’re friends. YES. SHE’S DOING IT FOR ATTENTION. SHE WISHED UPON A STAR FOR CANCER AND CHEMO AND VOMIT AND HOSPITAL VISITS AND NEEDLES AND BLOOD AND A BALD HEAD. YOU’RE COMPLETELY RIGHT. no. She actually has informed quite a lot of people about Leukemia, thank you very much. She’s not a GOD because she has cancer. She’s still Skyler but she SURE AS HELL is strong. WE’RE MAKING THE BEST OUT OF THE SITUATION. YOU ARE NOY SKYLER OR ME OR ORYANNA OR FAMILY OR FRIEND OR ANYBODY. YOU DON’T KNOW HER STORY OR ORYANNA’S STORY.
